I love this shot…the guys tring to be so cool. But I know what sweethearts they really are!
It has been an exciting, exhausting, joyful and sad month for our family. We packed up all of our worldly possessions and moved our family from San Jose to Milwaukee, WI (Don’t worry, we still have our studio in Los Gatos and Anna will be back montly and will still be your photographer!). A lot of it was exciting; a new home, a new neighborhood, family we can see without 6 plane tickets. A lot of it was sad; saying goodbye to a life that is familiar, leaving the beautiful weather, giving a last hug to the friends who have shared life with us for more than 9 years.
Isaiah, our nine-year-old, had some of the sweetest friends who we will all miss dearly. It was so sad to say goodbye to them both. Isaiah and Jacob spent the night at one another’s houses for nearly 2 weeks straight, switching from one house to the other, in our last days in California. And Isaiah isn’t the only one who will miss the guys or be missed. The first time Isaiah called Jacob, when we had just crossed the river from Minnesota to Wisconsin, Jacob asked to talk to Lydie-bug! We will ALL miss you guys!!
