My question is not listed. Can you add it here?
- Can I purchase all of my digital negatives?
- Our goal is to provide you with beautiful works of art to enjoy in amazing wall galleries, in your beautiful session album, outstanding greeting cards, and in exquisite custom storybooks. By working with top professional labs and vendors that are calibrated to provide spot-on color and clarity, we are able to give you the best possible products in the industry. This is our top priority. In addition, we provide a slideshow link with the purchase of certain collections for you to forward to friends and family to enjoy and a DVD slideshow for purchase that you can enjoy again and again. Having said that, we do know that many of you would love to have your own “copies” of the files to keep as archives or to share on blogs and web pages. So, yes, we offer two types of digital files available in certain Collections or as Collection add-ons. See our Investment page or your session emails for more details.
*Note that your image files are stored in multiple formats and locations to ensure the safe keeping for three years.

- How long do you store my photos? Can I order later?
- Photos from Short & Sweet Sessions are available to order for 30 days from posting. For Short & Sweet Sessions, Collections are available during the first three days; for Custom Sessions, they are available only at the initial Ordering Appointment. Any image that you order will be archived for three years. If you order a collection priced at $1100 or more, we will archive all of your session images. So then the answer to the second question “Can I order later” is . . . it depends. Order a couple of photos now and a couple more in 6 months? No. Order some prints now and have the peace of mind of knowing I can get replacements in the unfortunate event of damage or loss? Yes.

- How do i order upgraded mountings such as canvas, foamcore, or Masonite?
- If you would like an upgraded mounting, in the online ordering cart, simply click the appropriate “Add Product” for that item. For instance, if you wanted to order a 15×30 mounted on 3/4″ Foamcore, you would first add the “15×30 Std Mounted Print,” then while still in the same screen on the same image you would add “Foamcore 20×20 to 24×30.” The same thing would apply for Masonite and Canvas mounted prints.
- How long does it take to receive my order?
- In most cases, you should receive your prints via FedEx or UPS in 2-4 weeks of placing your order. Some greeting cards may take up to 5 weeks, and Saratoga Frames and storybooks take 8-10 weeks.
- Are there any minimum order requirements?
- Yes and no. There aren’t any minimum requirements for your entire order, but there are a few order requirements before certain products can be ordered. For instance, if you’d like to order greeting cards, you must first purchase at least $500 in prints; furthermore, greeting cards also have a minimum order of 50. If you’d like to purchase digital files, they are only available as a Collection add-on or with certain Collections.

- Can I see this color image in black & white or vice versa?
- We do not offer conversion previews. You can generally get a good idea of what a converted photo would look like by looking at similar photos in your gallery. What? They’re all BW in that series? If so, there’s a reason for that. See next answer
- back to top
- Can I get this color image in black & white or vice versa?
- Maybe. First consider why you want them converted. When Anna edits and presents your images, she chooses whether to make them BW or color based on several factors including lighting, composition, mood, and elements in the photo among other things. There are times when an image could go either way, but images tend to be stronger one way or the other. Sometimes, both are presented just so you could see what the other would look like in a given photo series. If you would like one to be converted, as long as the image “works” the other way, we do make that available at no charge on prints 11×14 and larger with the exception of your free 11×14. Simply include a note to that effect with the Add Note button at checkout.

- How do I order a Storyboard?
- A storyboard is a single print with 3-5 images in a row (3-4 for 10×20, 4-5 for 15×30). To order one, select one of the images you want and attach the storyboard product to that image. On the top of the screen is a link to view your shopping cart. click that, and find the storyboard in the list. Click the pencil icon in the notes colum next to it and enter the names of the other images you would like on that print. if you have a preferred order, you can number them. Anna will keep your preference in mind when she puts together your print, keep in mind that she will use her artistic judgment for the final product.

- What’s the difference between a Storyboard and a collage?
- The difference is the shape of the individual images and the overall print. A collage is a square print 4 or 9 square images arranged in a square or grid. A storyboard is a rectangle (10×20 or 15×30) with either 3-4 or 4-5 images arranged horizontally.

- How do I order an Accordion Album?
- Similar to a storyboard, but choose your preferred cover image as the image that you associate with the product. Add the other 14 in the notes.
- How do I order Greeting Cards?
- First, go to the Card Designs page of the Client section of our website and choose your card. Note the number. In your shopping cart, select the image you want on the card and then associate that with the type of card you want (flat, folded, notecard) and enter the quality. There is a minimum order of 50. In the notes, type the number of the card you chose from the website.

- How do I order a Collection (package)?
- To purchase a Collection, while on any image, click “Add to Cart” then look at the tabs across the top of that popup. Click on the one labeled “Select a Package.” Click through the descriptions to see the details of each collection. From that point, follow the directions in the shopping cart.
- What’s up with the weird package pricing? Why are there two different prices?
- Since our collections are “flexible” (meaning they are not entirely for fixed items such as 5 5×7, 5 8×10’s, etc. . .), the package price reflects all of the fixed, non-print items in the package and the appropriate discount. After you add the package to your cart, go back to ordering your prints as usual. Just make sure you order enough to qualify for that package, or we will adjust your order accordingly before processing. Details for each collection are in the description.

- How do I order the 11×14 that comes with my Short & Sweet Session?
- Select the image you would like, click add to cart, then scroll down to the bottom to an item labeled “11×14 Short & Sweet Session Promo.” The price is $0. Remember that you must select your complimentary 11×14 within the first three days. After that, the product will not be in the list.
- Can I see the products and prices in a different, easier-to-read format?
- Yes! Nearly all the products available in the Ordering Gallery are listed on the Investment Page.
- Can I share my online ordering gallery or do I need to keep it a secret?
- Your gallery is password protected; however, feel free to share it with whomever you wish–family, friends, anyone you think may be interested in seeing or purchasing your photos. From within the shopping cart, simply click on the “Share” button. If you order one of the Collections that includes an online slideshow, that is a different product. With that you would NOT be sending your friends to an ordering site. That one is strictly for viewing images.

- What if I lose my link?
- As long as you remember your password, you can access your ordering gallery here and find your name in the list.

- How do I get help?
- Well, that all depends on what you need help with! If it’s with ordering, you bet! If it’s with the drama with your kids, sorry. Before you email, I would just ask that you read through all of the content we have made available here and in the emails you receive. Hi. I saw your pictures on Christi Sickle’s site. Not sure I spelled her last name right. I love your images. I am from the Range and live in Roseville, MN now. I see you site says St. Paul. Do you take pictures here? I just love your work!
